Tall womens' clothing info.

Ok, ladies, here's some more information.

I've now field tested another tall clothing site. I've placed two orders now from www.longtallsally.com in the UK. I own a frill grandad shirt, which I love dearly, and an awesome striped denim jacket. They have some really fun styles, so sad I missed out on their black victorian shirt, but I was surprised to learn that shipping isn't as bad as I expected. I think it ended up being about 10 pounds or $20. If you get items on sale, the prices are fine. The only things to be aware of: the fit is different than I expected. The waist was a little larger, and the bust was a lot smaller than I'm used to. I've never ordered British clothing before... maybe this is standard fit in Britain (made for a woman with a smaller bust than US sizes?). The sleeves on long sleeve clothing are barely long enough for me, as well (I'm 6'3"). Both items I've ordered from them get constant use, though... and I recommend their clothing.

Also, www.metrostyle.com has a lot of regular tall sizes in work pants, suits, tops and jackets. I ordered their tall cuffed workpants because they were cheap and machine washable... they were too long for me to wear with flats, even though they weren't ultra-talls or extra-long sizes! Take a look at their workpants; I've learned that if I order tall sized pants that cover part of the models' high heels in the pictures, they're more than long enough for me (even though I need a 36" inseam). Very comfortable and machine washable, and long enough without letting out the cuffs. I wish the rise were longer, but they're still fine.
Wide-footed women: metrostyle also carries shoes in 12Wide. Sadly, they don't carry size 12 regular! Maybe if we pester them they'll start carrying regular width shoes in size 12 as well.

www.zappos.com is still my favorite source of tall women's shoes.... love that free shipping and 365 day free return policy!!

ultra tall clothing stores I didn't mention?
